Since 1976, The Black Rep Theater has been cultivating awareness and understanding of the black perspective through various art forms and expression. Each upcoming season presents a new opportunity to promote and share the latest of these incredible stories. For Season 42, my partner and I created a bold and evocative poster series that represented the main themes depicted in each play.

CANFIELD DRIVE

We will not be judged by the color of our skin, but by significance of our lives.

CROWNS

We will not be judged by the color of our skin, but by the splendor of our style.

NINA SIMONE: FOUR WOMEN

We will not be judged by the color of our skin, but by the power of our voices.

MILK LIKE SUGAR

We will not be judged by the color of our skin, but by the sincerity of our struggle.
